Linux/Unix

Toga has 2 backends that support Linux/Unix graphical desktop environments:

• A GTK backend (toga-gtk) for GNOME and other GTK-based desktop environments. This is available in both GTK 3 and GTK 4 variants; and
• A Qt backend (toga-qt) for KDE and other Qt-based desktop environments.

At this time, the GTK 3 backend is the more mature of the two. The GTK 4 and Qt backends are in the early stages of development.
